The Clinical Trials Division with the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery contains a numbers of physicians who are on the fore-front of leading clinical trails and investigations.  The Clinical Trials Division is under the direction of David Steward, MD. 

Clinical trials enroll people who are alike in some way, depending on the purpose of the trial. People who enroll in a clinical trial share specific characteristics or eligibility criteria that may include the type of disease or condition under study as well as age, sex, and general health.
