Developing clinical and basic science research programs allows us to expand clinical faculty and leads to technological advances. Our goal is to foster multidisciplinary relationships that advance science.

The mission of the research arm of the UC Voice Consortium is to perform translational and clinical interdisciplinary research that helps understand, diagnose and treat voice and swallowing disorders.

The consortium includes investigators from a number of different disciplines, such as aerospace engineering, adult laryngology, pediatric otolaryngology, pediatric pulmonary medicine, anesthesiology, thoracic surgery and adult pulmonary medicine.
